Welcome to my personal website.
I am an Associate Researcher from the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET) at Centro de Investigaciones del Mar y la Atmósfera (CIMA) of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Argentina. I hold PhD and Diploma degrees from the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (DCAO) of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires, where I am currently an Adjoint Profesor. I am also a researcher of the Instituto Franco-Argentino de Estudios sobre el Clima y sus Impactos (IFAECI), an International Research Laboratory (CNRS IRL 3351), jointly sponsored by CONICET and UBA from Argentina, and the Centre de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD) from France.
My research focuses primarily on climate variability and prediction at interannual and decadal timescales, as well as the long-term forced response associated with climate change in South America and the Southern Hemisphere. I am a co-director of the Dinámica de la Variabilidad atmosférica sobre Sudamérica (DIVAR) group at CIMA/DCAO/IFAECI.
